Peter Philippson, M.Sc. (Gestalt Psychotherapy) is a Gestalt psychotherapist and trainer, Honorary Member of the Gestalt Psychotherapy & Training Institute UK, a founder member of Manchester Gestalt Centre, Full Member of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy, Senior Trainer for GITA (Slovenia), faculty member, IpsiG (Turin), advisory board member, Center for Somatic Studies and a guest trainer for many training programmes internationally. He has been working as a psychotherapist for 33 years. He is Past President of the Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy. Peter is the author of ‘Self in Relation’, pub. Gestalt Journal Press, ‘The Emergent Self’ pub. Karnac/UKCP and ‘Gestalt Therapy: Roots and Branches’ pub. Karnac, and many other chapters and articles. He is a teacher (4th dan) and student of traditional Aikido.
Gianni Francesetti: Psychiatrist, Gestalt therapist, Adjunct Professor of Phenomenological and Existential Approach, Dep. of Psychology, University of Torino (Italy), international trainer and supervisor, he has published widely on psychotherapy and psychopathology, exploring original approaches to understanding clinical suffering from a phenomenological and Gestalt therapy viewpoint and proposing new models for framing particular clinical disorders (including experiences of panic, depression, psychosis and obsessive-compulsive disorder). He is co-director of IPsiG – International Institute for Gestalt Therapy and Psychopathology and President of Poiesis – Gestalt Therapy Clinical Centre of Torino. He is Past President of the EAGT (European Association for Gestalt Therapy), of the SIPG (Italian Society for Gestalt therapy), of the FIAP (Italian Federation of Psychotherapy Associations), member of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy, the Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy (AAGT), the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP), and the Society for Psychotherapy Research (SPR).

Michela Gecele, born in Turin, Psychiatrist and Gestalt Therapist, Trainer and Supervisor, she has published books, articles and chapters on themes of psychotherapy and psychopathology, exploring clinical suffering from a phenomenological and Gestalt therapy viewpoint. Another clinical and research topic is that of cultural and intercultural issues (risks, opportunities, trauma and post trauma, language, communication, connections between social and cultural context and forms of illness and care). She has worked for 27 years in public mental health services and she has coordinated, in Turin, a psychological and psychiatric service for immigrants. She is supervisor of public mental health services and of programs for immigrants. She is a member of the Human Rights & Social
Responsibility (HR&SR) Committe of European Association for Gestalt Therapy (EAGT). She is co-director of the IPsiG (International Institute for Gestalt Therapy and Psychopathology).
She has also published fiction and educational books.
Dan Bloom JD, L CSW ( www.danbloomnyc.com) is a psychotherapist
and clinical trainer/supervisor with a private practice in New York City
and online. He studied with Laura Perls, Isadore From and Richard
Kitzler at the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy, where Dan served
as president for four years. He is a fellow of the institute. He is adjunct
faculty at the Gestalt Associates of New York, the Gestalt Center of New
York, the Center for Somatic Studies, international faculty Insituto
Humanista de Psicotherapia Gestalt, Mexico City, Mexico, faculty the
Gestalt Training Institute of Malta and guest trainer Istituto di Gestalt
HCCC, Syracuse, Italy. Dan also presents workshops at international
conferences and gestalt therapy residentials. He leads online seminars
in the theory/practice of contemporary gestalt therapy and clinical
phenomenology. He is member the European Association for Gestalt
Therapy, past president and member Association for the Advancement
of Gestalt Therapy and member of the Society for Phenomenology and
Existential Philosophy. He is an associate editor of the Gestalt Review,
book review editor of Quaderni di Gestalt and a member of the Scientific

co-edited Continuity and Change: Gestalt Therapy Now, and The NYIGT in
the 21 st Century, The Aesthetic of Otherness. Dan’s writings are widely
published and have been translated into more than 7 languages.
Julianne Appel-Opper, Psychologist, Integrative Gestalt Psychotherapist,
International Trainer/Supervisor with 32 years clinical experience. Julianne has lived and worked in different countries, for 9 years in the U.K. where she worked both privately and in the NHS. She is in private practice in Berlin, but continues to work internationally as a visiting/online trainer as well as presenting at conferences. She has developed Relational Living Body Psychotherapy which she has taught, presented internationally and written about in 27 publications, both in English and German. Since 2001 she has worked as an international trainer, from 2004-2015 visiting tutor/examiner (MSc/ Doctorate level), Integrative Department at Metanoia, London.

Jan Roubal, MD, PhD, is an associate professor at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic, where he also works in the Center for Psychotherapy Research. He works as psychotherapist and psychiatrist. He founded the Training in Psychotherapy Integration and the training Gestalt Studia in the Czech Republic, he also works as a psychotherapy trainer and supervisor internationally.
