e\nBreak\nExperimenting with polarities &amp\; creative indifference and p
 rocess\nSharing reflections\, questions\, closure\, and withdrawal\n\nCont
ent:\nJoin me in a conversation about the simplicity and complexity of cre
ative indifference. We can gather to deepen our understanding of the ferti
le and restless space of everything and nothing. To hold this space for a
client we need to be deliberate and intentional\, because of our natural i
nclination to gravitate toward one side of each polarity.\nIn this worksho
p\, we will Discuss how Salomo Friedlaender\, Fritz Perls\, and Laura Perl
s helped to develop the philosophy and use of creative indifference in ges
talt therapy. We will view gestalt therapy as an aesthetic and learn why c
reativity is at the heart of our work as gestalt practitioners.\nI will sh
are a short anecdote of my own personal integration of creative indifferen
ce. Next\, we will experiment with creative indifference in breakout rooms
by working toward balancing polarities and creating wholeness in a mock s
ession. Last\, we will come together for reflections\, questions\, closure
\, and withdrawal.\n\nParticipants completing this workshop will be able t
o:\n1) Formulate the attitude and practice of creative indifference and un
derscore the prominent thinkers that helped this phenomenon take shape.\n2
) Delineate and apply gestalt concepts\, such as differential thinking\, f
 ield\, I/thou\, present centeredness\, polarities\, figure/ground\, and Pe
rl’s layers of neurosis.\n3) Engage in discourse about presenting issues
and practical interventions.\n4) Ascertain how to use creative indifferen
ce to make contact and invite figures with an inherent contradictory natur
e.\n5) Aspire to achieve balance\, integration\, and wholeness by intentio
nally dwelling in the center of polarities as a creative place of work.
